Em Fergusson has over 17 years of experience working as a Publicist and Communications Specialist in the arts, entertainment and lifestyle sectors. Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Em has previously worked as a freelance journalist, assignment editor for an ABC news affiliate, and radio host for the only Black Gospel radio station in Montreal. She has toured with Gospel greats such as Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Smokie Norful and Donnie McClurkin. She wrote stories for several publications, interviewing performing artists (Israel Houghton, Canton Jones, Deitrick Haddon) and covered events such as the Stellar Awards, and T.D. Jakes’ Mega Fest Celebrity Basketball events with Magic Johnson, Deion Sanders and Michael Vick, to name a few.
Em has a deep passion for public relations and possesses extensive expertise in the world of arts and entertainment. She has successfully secured placements in media outlets worldwide (United States, England, Hong Kong, Canada, and France) for a variety of companies, productions and celebrities.
Throughout her career as a Publicist, Em coordinated photo and video shoots in both the United States and the U.K. She spearheaded the red-carpet event for the first Tyler Perry Exhibition and held press conferences for concerts featuring Grammy-Award winner, Matt Catingub, and Tony Award winner, Steve Moretti. Em has coordinated film premieres, screenings and special events in Atlanta and Milledgeville, GA, and Detroit, MI. She recently coordinated the Atlanta Film Premiere for ‘Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot.’ She has represented celebrities such as the late Louis Gossett Jr., overseeing campaigns for films he has been featured in (Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple, and John Krasinski’s film, IF) and actors such as Aba Arthur (Black Panther II, Bad Monkey).
Em currently represents clients in television and film productions, music, gaming/esports, art organizations, and lifestyle brands. She is member of the National Black Public Relations Society and serves on the board of the Georgia Latino International Film Festival. Em also serves on the board for Hope Springs Africa, an organization that provides key resources for families living in rural areas in Rwanda.
Cody Johnson is a PR Manager. She has worked in the marketing industry for close to a decade with non-profits, media committees, universities, film festivals, special events, and with independent businesses. She oversees content creation and assists with special events for our clients.
Cody has served as a marketing committee member for film festivals, and oversees publicity campaigns for corporate and entertainment clients. Her past marketing and PR experience includes heading social media and graphic design for the Ronald McDonald House of Central Georgia and for Middle Georgia State University. Cody’s love for learning keeps her on the cutting edge of innovative PR practices.
Cody lives in Macon, Georgia and loves watching films, reading, traveling, and attending live concerts.
